Veteran Tree Surveying

Nice to get stuck into the first veteran tree survey of the year. Some nice Beech, Ash, Scots Pine and Sallow. The Sallow here are amazing but impossible to trace back where these walking trees may have originated from. Advanced hollowing, multiple crown re-iterations. I think these must surely qualify as ancient trees.
