Arboricultural Supervision and Site Monitoring

East Devon Tree Care is able to offer an Arboricultural Supervision and Site Monitoring service. It is often a condition for local authorities to insist as part of planning approval that development sites will require periodic supervision by a professional Arboriculturist to monitor the retention and protection of trees on site.

During construction work, to comply with an approved Arboricultural Method Statement (AMS), the Project Arboriculturist will attend the site regularly to ensure that the tree protection measures are being carried out to the required specifications and ensure that all planning conditions are being met by the developer.

The Project Arboriculturist will then notify the local authority that compliance has been reached or advise the developer what needs to be rectified on site before a notification can be made. The frequency of these supervision visits will be determined by the complexity of the development site in relation to the trees on site. Additional ad hoc visits may also be required in response to unforeseen circumstances such as accidental damage to trees on site so that we can advise on remedial measures and liaise with the local authority.

Please contact us to discuss your requirements in further details and we will be pleased to submit a fee proposal for your consideration.
