Champion Turkey Oak

We were asked, on recommendation to inspect and report on a truly massive tree this week. This is reportedly the largest Turkey Oak in Europe and the largest unsupported tree in the uk. It’s truly enormous at 39m in height with a stem diameter of 3m, the canopy spans 47m! Plenty of other historic trees on the grounds too. #ancienttreeforum #ancienttrees #vetcert #championtrees
