Killerton Gardens – National Trust Tree Surgery

In March 2012, in the garden of Killerton House in Exeter for The National Trust we were asked to fell a 34m (110ft) Northofagus. The tree was removed because of decay in the main stem. These trees are very brittle and made climbing and lowering from the tree quite a tricky job.
