Site Visit and Verbal Arboricultural Advice

When a full written report is not required and tree owner liability is not a concern, we offer a lower-cost alternative: a site visit with verbal Arboricultural advice service. This service includes a visual inspection of your trees and informal management recommendations provided on the day. It does not include a written report, formal risk assessment, or any advice relating to tree safety, tree related subsidence or liability. It is ideal for clients seeking practical guidance on pruning options, general maintenance, or tree care, rather than a documented assessment of condition or risk. We can also provide impartial advice on pest and disease identification and neighbourly disputes.

Read more about what one of our clients in West Hill thought about this service:

“Having moved in to a new property we booked a verbal consultation. It is really important to us that we manage our trees and shrubs correctly and that planting is in keeping with the local area and habitat. We also needed impartial advice from someone who was not trying to get further work by advising us to do work which wasn’t needed or could be detrimental to neighbours or the environment! We had a really enjoyable time discussing trees and shrubs. It was great to get expert advice – correct identification of species, balanced expert opinion on potential risks, suggestions for management and potential work, discussions on height, spread and time to maturity. We learnt so much and feel a lot more confident about the decisions we needed to take. Not only do we now feel informed about the individual trees and their management but we learnt a lot more about the local habitat, trees and appropriate planting for both our garden and the area. We would happily use the service again just to learn more!”

For clients needing assistance with planning applications for local authorities, we offer a complete tree work planning application service. Acting as your agent, we can prepare and submit the application on your behalf.
