The dynamic root stability determination using the Fakopp DynaRoot Dynamic Root Evalutation system, is based on real-life wind loads enabling assessment of the real-life risks. It is simple to carry out with the only drawback being\r\n that it requires windy weather to carry out the test, in excess of 25km\/h \/ 15mph. Once set up in place, it is completely weather proof, does not require constant monitoring and can be left alone for several hours to collect the\r\n required data.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

How does DynaRoot work?<\/h3>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

The DynaRoot Dynamic Root Evaluation system has three components:<\/p>\r\n

    \r\n
  1. An Anemometer – an instrument for measuring wind velocity at or near to the tree to be evaluated<\/li>\r\n
  2. An Inclinometer- an instrument affixed to the root collar that measures the inclination of the trunk in two different directions.<\/li>\r\n
  3. Evaluation Software – PC software which evaluates wind velocity, x and y inclination and displacement.<\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n
