Wet day training National Trust staff at the South West Rangers meeting. We covered safe techniques for coronet cutting, axe pruning and other veteranisation methods. This is part of a wood pasture restoration project. These techniques are used to release veteran Oak coppards from competition and to mimic old tree features in a few of the younger trees.
