We are pleased to announce that we have now been verified and qualify for a SMAS Worksafe Certificate. We were required to produce evidence on our Health & Safety management systems which were found to meet the requirements set out in the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 and successfully demonstrated our Core Stage 1 H&S competence.

In line with H&S legislation and Industry best practice, many clients will only use contractors and consultants selected from an approved database who have demonstrated the appropriate level of competence in their H&S management systems. Many buyers are also looking for the SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) logo as a reassurance that the assessment meets the stringent criteria set by the HSE. SMAS  is a full member of the  SSIP forum.
