Picturesque Tree Surgery at Escot House – Travel Channel Shorts
We were recently approached by Original Concept Productions to see if we would be interested in having them film us carrying out tree surgery works to make a short film to be aired on the Travel Channel. We are really pleased with how it turned out and a nice take on the work we carry out. This job was reducing a large old Turkey Oak to a habitat trunk. We use special cuts to tear branches to mimic natural branch failures so that the remaining stump looks as natural as possible. Its currently being shown on the channel at the moment if you manage to catch it!
We received the following feedback from Mr O, a customer in Dunkeswell, for some work carried out in August 2017 for him. The works undertaken also required us to submit a planning application to East Devon District Council on his behalf.
Comments: Very pleased with the work carried out by Matt and his crew. Professional and polite throughout, thank you.
We received the following feedback from Mrs L, a customer in Honiton, regarding some tree felling works carried out for them in October 2015:
“Matthew’s team spent almost a week cutting down a considerable number of coniferous trees. It was a difficult site for manoeuvrability, yet not a single plant was damaged. They did an excellent and very professional job, cleared up afterwards and left the garden in an immaculate condition. I was especially impressed that they cut the trees so close to the ground, so no annoying stumps to trip over. The team were friendly and efficient and I would not hesitate to recommend their services.”
We recently received some feedback via our website from a customer for some work carried out on the A303 near Monkton in May 2015. The work involved roadworking and traffic control reducing trees from a woodland which were overhanging the road:
“Great job as always, good team work, site left tidy and all workers friendly, helpful and hard working.”
